Monitoring Multiple Transactions

The Reports Dashboard is a homepage that shows you everything happening with your current files in one place. Instead of opening each report one by one, the dashboard highlights anything that might need your attention.

It provides you the following information:

  • Which transactions are getting close to their closing date
  • Which ones are still missing information
  • Which ones are past the date they were supposed to close

This helps you keep track of many transactions at the same time, so nothing slips through the cracks. Even if you’re new to the system, the dashboard makes it easy to see which files are on track and which ones might need a follow-up.

Sorting and Filtering the Report List

When you have a lot of reports, the list can get long. Sorting and filtering are tools that help you quickly find what you’re looking for without scrolling through everything. Filters help you shrink a long list of reports down to just the ones you want to look at. Instead of scrolling through everything, you can press a few buttons and instantly see only the categories that matter to you.

Think of filters like light switches. You turn on the categories you want to see and turn off the ones you don’t.

You can filter reports to show only:

  • Pending: Files that still need information
  • Complete:  Files where all required information has been submitted
  • Ready to Close: Everything is done and the report is prepared for closing
  • Closed: The transaction has officially closed
  • Filed: The FinCEN report has already been submitted
  • Exempt: Transactions that don’t require a FinCEN filing

Filters make it easy to focus only on the reports that actually need your attention right now.

Sorting lets you change the order of your reports so the ones you care about most appear at the top. Think of it like spreading out a stack of papers on your desk and reorganizing them so the easiest or most important ones are right where you need them.

You can sort your reports by many different details, including:

  • Closing date: Shows the transactions closing soonest first
  • Property address: Sorts alphabetically to help you find a specific property
  • Most recently updated: Puts the reports with the newest activity at the top

You can also sort by other fields, such as:

  • Report Start
  • City / State / Zip
  • Buyer or Seller name
  • Office
  • Exempt

Sorting helps you bring the most important or most recent reports to the top so you don’t have to hunt for them.

Together, sorting and filtering make it much easier to manage a large number of reports and find exactly what you need quickly.

Finding Reports by Property, Buyer, or File Number

The search bar at the top of the dashboard works just like a search engine, it helps you find a specific report without scrolling through your whole list. You can type in almost anything you know about the transaction, such as: The property address, the buyer’s or seller’s name, the report ID, etc.

As soon as you start typing, the system begins showing matching results right away. This means you don’t have to type the full address or name, just a few letters is often enough.

It’s the fastest way to jump straight into the exact report you’re looking for.
